If Names of Hearts gets a chance to become real, I will distribute it by:
- Facebook
According to Decision Lab's Connected Consumer Q1 2023 report, Facebook has a penetration rate of 95% among Vietnamese internet users.
Like many famous movies that pay ridiculous money on marketing, I will highlight the movie on Facebook. As I’m still very young in the industry, therefore fan labor theory can not be used here. However, I’ll try my best for new audiences by encouraging engagement by releasing promotions or using star powers.
- Shopping Malls.
By using Interactive Displays to utilize interactive displays in lobbies or common areas where attendees can tap their preferred heart name associated with the photos they just took with the “Names of Hearts” logo on.
The Promotion Campaign Timeline.
- Pre-Production (12-18 Months Before Release): This phase likely involved developing social media strategies, creating trailers and teasers, and planning partnerships and influencer marketing campaigns.
- Production Ramp-Up (6-12 Months Before Release): Trailer releases, website launches, and potentially early screenings or press events for industry insiders might occur during this period.
- Heavy Promotion (3-6 Months Before Release): Social media blitzes, partnerships activating, merchandise releases, and broader media coverage would likely happen here to generate mainstream awareness for Names of Hearts.
- Release and Post-Release (Around Release Date): Focus on theatrical release, encouraging ticket sales, and potentially maintaining social media engagement with behind-the-scenes content or fan interactions.
